Safe City
Safety is the first step in creating an international city in a Global Era. The city of Songpa was listed as one of the top 100 safest cities in the world in 2008 which endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) of the United Nations.
The city designated children’s parks, bus stops and taxi stops as smoking free zone and made it mandatory to have one safety doctor in a day care center as well as home safety inspections. The children’s protection vehicle system, giving certification to cars insured and equipped with child safety goods as well as children’s bike licenses and other safety programs are attracting global attention. To benchmark Songpa’s safe city projects, many cities from both home and abroad visit our city and invite us to learn our excellent practices.
