Even bigger with the celebration of the 1st anniversary of Jamsil Special Tourist Zone

Every spring, the oasis of the urban area Seokchon Lake becomes a island of white.

Songpa-gu holds the "2013 Cherry Blossom Festival" centered at Seokchon Lake for 3 days between April 12 to 14.

This year in particular, the festival will celebrate the 1st anniversary of Jamsil Special Tourist Zone by holding various programs and events for visitors.

The 3-day festival will make its start with Walking the Night Path of Cherry Blossom at Songpa Sori-gil on April 12 and between April 13 and 14, Cherry Blossom Culture Art Performances, Experience Events, Food Plaza and Photo Zone will be operated.

During the festival period, visitors will be able to enjoy performances of the City Orchestra, indie bands, youth bands and culture clubs.

Furthermore, "Happiness Garden" where visitors will fill the Jangmi Tunnel of the East Lake with cards of hope, wishes and dreams written on them and "Photo Zone" where visitors will be able to take interesting photos and trick art will be held to offer visitors a one-of-a-kind experience.

In celebration of the 1st anniversary of Jamsil Special Tourist Zone,

Songpa-gu is hosting the Songpa Tourist Festival along with Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival.

On April 13 and 14, Seokchon Lake region will host 1st Anniversary Celebration Ceremony, Foreigner Traditional Game Olympics, Tourist Site Promotion, Familiarization Tour and celebration performances satisfying the five senses of visitors.

Songpa-gu is waiting for its citizens active participation in the 1st anniversary of Jamsil Special Tourist Zone as well as the Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival.
