The 16th Hanseong Baekje Cultural Festival held from the 6th-10th of October 2016

Based on the current Songpa-gu area, Hanseong Baekje was the governing body of the entire East Asian Region and exercised strong lasting influence for 493years. 

The 2016 Hanseong Baekje Cultural Festival will have its grand opening on Thursday, October 6, 2016, to commemorate the splendid history and rich cultural significance of the Dynasty. The four-day event will be magnificently unfolded in and around Peace Square of Olympic Park. The festival has established itself as a leading cultural event of Seoul, having been awarded gold medals for the fourth consecutive year by the International Festivals and Events Association, and selected as Seoul’s Top Festival for three years in a row by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
